Not Until You by Roni Loren

Not Until You (Loving on the Edge #3.5)Not Until You by Roni Loren
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

3 Oh My Stars

Even though Not Until You is labeled as #3.5 in the series, it’s a full length novel. I sometimes think that in-between books are novellas, but this is not the case.

Cela has her life mapped out. She’s in Dallas finishing up school and will soon move back home to take over her dad’s practice. She just graduated and she wants to live a little before she goes home.

Foster and Pike are Cela’s live next door to Cela and they never really interacted with Cela. Cela knows about Foster and Pike, she hears them in her apartment, especially late at night when both guys bring ladies home.

I liked Cela’s story line. She’s the good girl that wants to go bad, but doesn’t have the guts to do it because she’s been trying to be good her whole life. I like that she is older and she’s at a crossroads. When I read a character graduating from school, I always think of that as the time to finding oneself.

I find it hard to believe that Foster, Pike and Cela never really interacted, but I don’t really talk to people near my area, so okay.

Not Until You is a very steamy read. It’s mostly Cela and Foster’s relationship with each other, but Pike does make an appearance here and there.

Foster has a troubled past and he’s trying to make amends for it. He’s spent years trying to atone for it. He’s storyline is kind of sad and you feel for the guy. Foster is also a dominate and he loves being with submissive. Cela doesn’t know anything about that world.

Cela doesn’t act like the typical newbie submissive, but there are some parts where I kind of wanted Foster to take her a little future. I would say that this novel is for beginners, it’s light and steamy.

Cela is confused with the relationship because she does want to have something with Foster, but she also wants to go home and work with her Dad. I understand the obligations Cela has towards her family and you wonder what she is going to pick.

You can read Not Until you as a standalone and if you are a fan of steamy reads with a touch of D/s, then this is for you.

An Arc was provided in exchange for an honest review
