The Anatomy of Jane (WJM #1) Amelia LeFay [REVIEW]

Jane

I’ve always been on my own. My life used to consist of nothing but work, keeping Allen out of trouble, and if I had time, sleep. Then I became their maid.

Max

Every day more than half a million people tune in to watch my show. They trust me. I know it’s because I’m the only son of the prominent Emerson family. However, I like to believe it because I’m honest no matter what story I report on. I’m honest about everything but the man I’ve been f**king for the last four years… and now her.

Wesley

First I want three things: First Maxwell Emerson and Jane Chapman both in my bed. Second, to be the best bloody chef in the country. Third, to figure out how to simultaneously get the first and second things I want without any of us getting hurt.
THREE PEOPLE.
ONE LOVE STORY….

5 More is Always Better Stars
The Anatomy of Jane is a really fun and unique book. It’s a MMF book, but wait! The guys are bi, so everyone loves each other. Come on, you should have already stopped reading my review and one click this baby.  Suffice it to say, I was mostly intrigued by the storyline. I wanted something different and something that would push the boundaries. What I got was a well written, well thought out romance read. Yes, it’s a true romance book about love, sacrifices and following your heart.

Jane is the damsel in distress I love to read. She once worked at strip club and now she’s a maid. She’s sassy and very opinionated. She works hard and doesn’t have free time for anything.

Max is a TV reporter and is part of a wealthy family. He’s up bringing is very conservative and because of that he must stay in the closet.

Wesley is a world famous chef. He grew up with two moms and he loves two things, food and Max. He’s fine being Max’s secret because he gets all of Max at night.

And eventually all three will intermix and it’s a steamy and fun ride. What I love most about this book is the how it sucked me in from the first page. I love all the characters. Jane is the Heroine that is daring and very independent. She cleans Max’s house and she sees some pretty out there stuff, like Max and Wes getting their love on. Yes please!

Max and Wes are attracted to Jane and for the first time the men want to bring her into the relationship. Wes is very flirty and nice, I love him. I love his light and happy personality. He brings the tension down a notch. Max is more serious, but he has to be, he has a lot riding on his shoulders. I love Max as well, he balances the relationship perfectly. I wished I could say I had a favorite but I love both men equally. I just wanted everyone to get along and live beautifully together.

“Jane, you’re family now. My family. Wes family. You belong to us. We belong to you”

But not everyone is open-minded and society isn’t ready for a couple like them. Max wants to be public with Jane to help his imagine and even though Wes is use to be a secret, it kind of creates a tension between the three.  But everyone cares for each other and it’s just completely sweet to read the struggles.

“If they were both hanging off a cliff, and I could only choose one, I’d join them on the cliff and hope we could go together. I can’t divide myself from them”

I was really surprised by this book and I’m happy I picked it up. It was a yummy treat.
