STAY (WAGs, #2) by Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy

Can you fall in love with someone you've never even met?

Hailey Taylor Emery has a hunch that her favorite client at Fetch—an anonymous virtual assistant service—is actually hockey star Matt Eriksson.

Although it's against the rules for her to check his file, she's 95% sure she spends at least part of each day texting with her lifelong crush and catering to his every need. Still nursing a wounded heart thanks to her recent breakup, Hailey is perfectly content with some harmless online flirting... until she has to meet her client. Face to face. Cue: utter panic.

Matt Eriksson is no stranger to heartbreak. He's still not over the destruction of his marriage, and it sucks to be the only guy on the team who knows the truth—that hockey and long-term relationships are a toxic mix. He barely sees his kids, and dealing with his ex makes him feel insane. The only person in his life

who seems to understand is someone who won't show her pretty face.
But it's nothing that a pair of fourth row hockey seats can't fix. Hailey can't resist the offer. Matt can't resist Hailey. Good thing he doesn't have to. Fire up the kiss cam!

Warning: Contains rabid hockey fans, misunderstood dick pics, hockey players at the opera and exploding ovaries.

4 Single Daddy Stars!!!!Stay is a standalone and is part of the WAGs series. WAG stands for Wives and Girlfriends (I didn’t know, until I saw the commercial for the reality show on Bravo).

This one was pretty cute and I really enjoyed the storyline. Granted this book has a single daddy and twins nonetheless, but still, I love Sarina and Elle’s writing style. They always write instant hits and this book put me in a really good mood.

Hailey is a sassy Heroine. She’s a business owner and loves what she does. She manages a services company, people put in request through an app and she outsources the job. I really liked Hailey, I found her really personable, relatable and real. You do feel bad for her in the sense she works with her ex-husband, but that’s the reality of life right?

Matt is a thirty something hockey player, but playing hockey doesn’t define Matt, nope, being a dad does and I couldn’t find anything more endearing and hot than that! I love that Matt is a single dad and I couldn’t get enough of his interaction between him and his twin daughters. He loves his kids like crazy, but because he works so much he doesn’t get to see them often and so he has a lot of guilt.
To me, Matt isn’t your typical Hero. I never found a Hero that was more empathic and sweet than Matt. You can tell how much he cares for his kids and even when his ex-wife treats him like dirt, he takes it.

I really liked the dynamic between Hailey and Matt. They were cute and I couldn’t get enough of their dialogue and interaction. Matt is one of Hailey’s clients and she often does jobs for him, like walking his dog and getting food for him. I really like how Matt uses Hailey’s company to get in contact with her. I love any relationship that uses some form of technology communication, it’s just like I said cute.

Overall, this book isn’t too angsty and the tension is mild, but it’s a feel good book that will give you a warm fuzzy feel when you finish. The dog is cute too.
