The Kiss Quotient (The Kiss Quotient, #1) by Helen Hoang

Stella Lane thinks math is the only thing that unites the universe. She comes up with algorithms to predict customer purchases--a job that has given her more money than she knows what to do with, and way less experience in the dating department than the average thirty-year-old.
It doesn't help that Stella has Asperger's and French kissing reminds her of a shark getting its teeth cleaned by pilot fish. Her conclusion: she needs lots of practice--with a professional. Which is why she hires escort Michael Phan. The Vietnamese and Swedish stunner can't afford to turn down Stella's offer, and agrees to help her check off all the boxes on her lesson plan--from foreplay to more-than-missionary position...

Before long, Stella not only learns to appreciate his kisses, but crave all of the other things he's making her feel. Their no-nonsense partnership starts making a strange kind of sense. And the pattern that emerges will convince Stella that love is the best kind of logic...

6 Amazing stars

The Kiss Quotient is the it book to read this summer. It’s the perfect book to cozy up to and never stop reading. I devoured this book and I couldn’t get enough. Helen Hoang is an author to look out for because she is talented and knows how to write a good book.

I’ll be honest and say it’s hard for me to pick up a new author. I like to stalk their previous books and see if I like their writing style. I’m a fairly picky reader and I know what I like, but the reviews were too good and I couldn’t pass up The Kiss Quotient.

I’m so glad I started this book because it was a wonderful from start to finish.

So, I’m Vietnamese and my babies are half Vietnamese. Am I biased? Maybe, but I really do love a good ethnic book. I got the references and totally understood the culture. I think everyone and anyone should read this book.

The Heroine of the book is Stella and she’s different. She’s has Asperger’s. I loved loved loved Stella. I felt like she was a unique and interesting character to read. I believed her and I felt for her. She doesn’t understand social norms but she tries very hard to not stand out because when you are different, you don’t really want to shout it out to the world right?

Michael knows hardship. He’s an escort because he is good at it, is good looking but frankly he needs the money. I adore Michael and I love his family. Shout out to all the moms that wear Christmas sweaters not during the holidays! The best part of Michael is how he is with Stella. He’s patient and kind.

The best part of the book is the writing. I love the style, the flow and the characters are addictive. I was consumed in the relationship between Stella and Michael and I was curious to where it would go. I was curious to see who Michael is and how he is the way he is and I wanted to learn more about Stella and all her quirks.

The Kiss Quotient is an adore non-stop read. EVERYONE should pick it up. It’s a must!

A Finished Copy was provided and I volunteered to review
