Hitched by Karpov Kinrade

4 Married, what? Stars
Hitched was a very simple, short and steamy read. If you are in the mood for something light, no fuss and lots of sex, well it’s for you.
I was hooked with the summary. I’m a major fan of reads where the main characters randomly marry after a drunken night of sex. Yes, I have read more than one book with that story-line and I always enjoy them.
Hitched is just funny. So, Kacie has her own company. She is a party planner in Vegas. Sebastian is a doctor. Both have a drunken night of fun and gasp end up marrying each other.
Of course Sebastian kind of likes the idea of being married, but Kacie is giving it to the end of the summer before she plans on annulling the marriage.
Overall, I didn’t have many expectations for Hitched. Kacie did frustrate me at times. Don’t get me wrong I love it when Sebastian chases after her and tries to get her to change her mind about the annulment, but after a while I kind of wanted to slap Kacie and ask her what her problem was.
Kacie is very goal oriented and doesn’t think her job is good enough compared to Sebastian the doctor. I know, it’s kind of silly, but you need tension right? What I did enjoy is how light everything was and how strong Kacie could be (even though she is a tad bit annoying). I also liked how the book is really really really short. You can probably read it in a few hours. I’m a fan of short books because sometimes you just need that sweet, light-hearted fix and Hitched did the job.
