At least it’s not my brother’s best friend.
Or my best friend’s brother.
Or… never mind. It’s all pretty cliche.
And worse? My boss’ best friend is his business partner. Which sort of makes him my boss too. Okay - it’s not sort of. It’s definite. Gabe Laurent is off limits. Totally off limits.
Which is fine. I make do with my imagination. He’ll never know. Ever. Unless my work bestie passes me an eighties-style teen movie sex quiz during a meeting and I fill it out.
And it ends up in Gabe’s hands
4 Sassy and Sweet Stars
Jana Aston is always a one-click author for me. I say this often, but it’s the truth, whenever I read her books I pee in my pants a little. She’s laugh out loud hilarious and she has a way with words. I’m a mega fan of the Wrong series and I was beyond excited when I realized there would be a novella.
I’m also a fan of novellas. There’s something about novellas that just make reading super fun. I love that novellas are short, sweet and to the point. There’s no fuss, no muss and filled with lots of joy.
Sandra has a crush on her boss’ best friend. That’s a mouth full huh? His name is Gabe and although he’s not directly her boss, he kind of is her boss and doesn’t that sound like juicy fun?
I found Sandra completely adorable. She’s very cute and her crush on Gabe was sweet to read. She’s this plain Jane boring girl and doesn’t think she would catch his eye, so what’s the point in trying right? I love these types of reads!
Gabe is super-hot and you know I love a man in glasses. Just ask my husband! He even wears dark thick black frames too (I picked them out) but I digress. When Gabe realizes Sandra kind of likes him, then all bets are off. I like the chemistry between Gabe and Sandra, they complement each other.
Office romances are fun to read and this book definitely hit all the right spots.

hoping that was not a stupid idea.
In her defense, it was really boring.
