Futures and Frosting is book 2 of the Chocolate lover series. I was a BIG FAN of Seduction and Snacks

So I had huge expectations. Yes, Futures and Frosting was very funny and had that Tara Sivec quirky writing, but (and I hate to say it), it didn’t tickle my fancy as much as book 1.

I know! Don’t hate me, but I found the Claire and Carter dynamic a little (and just a tiny bit) drawn out. I wasn’t fond of the tension and I just didn’t understand why Claire and Carter were kind of off sync.

However, I still adore Gavin and there are plenty of crazy laugh out loud funny scenes.

So, on to book 3, Troubles and Treats
