Book Review [One Tiny Lie (Ten Tiny Breaths, #2)] by K.A. Tucker

5 STARS! Spoiler FREE Review

Oh.my.word…. one word to describe One Tiny Lie is ONE BIG FANTASTIC YES!

Seriously people, if you haven’t picked up a KA Tucker read, you.need.to.do.it.NOW!

I LOVED LOVED LOVED Ten Tiny Breaths. One Tiny Lie isn’t anything like Ten Tiny Breaths and you would think that would upset me huh? Oh.No. Makes me love One Tiny Lie even more. One Tiny Lie is book 2 of Ten Tiny Breaths series and is a completely new and different novel from the first book BUT you still need to read Ten Tiny Breaths so the story isn’t ruined for you.

[Summary]

Its two years later and Livie is 18, I jump for joy on this. I am happy she is legal. Anyhow, Livie is always the responsible one and has her future planned out for her. She attends her first year at Princeton and everyone wants Livie to loosen up and enjoy her college years. Livie finds this difficult, but with the help of Ashton, it might not be so difficult for Livie to be a little reckless, even though predicable, yet safe Connor seems like the obvious choice.

[Disclaimer]

If I read the blurb prior to reading, I probably wouldn’t have picked it up. I am always a little apprehensive of love triangles, it’s a difficult story line for me to get into, however, this just goes to show what a fabulous writer Tucker is, because I was hooked from page one.

[Livie]

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Livie. If Livie and I went to college together, she would be my best friend. I love Livie so much because I see myself in her. I mean, never getting anything lower than an A, oh yeah, I feel for ya girl! She’s a great Heroine. Livie is young, independent, smart, yet emotional, caring and a really great character. If you looking for a coming of age kind of character, she’s your girl. I even like that she cries so much, it’s very cute.

[Ashton]

Ashton is swoon-drool-panties-down-my-leg kind of Hero.

Oh boy. Oh boy. Why do we “good” girls love these bad boys?! It’s just too much and I LOVE IT!

I’m sure most girls do everything in their power to stage a run-in with Ashton Henley after getting drunk and making out with him on a random street corner.

But I am not most girls

Ashton could be considered an anti-hero in away. When we first meet Ashton, he’s this bad-boy party guy who is pretty laid back, yet when you get to know him more, there’s something about him that makes you just ache. He has a lot of past issues and it’s slowly uncovered throughout the read. And let me tell you, his secrets… wow.

My very honest emotions throughout

At 1%.... I was just like oh, I need to allocate 6 hours for his because I don’t want to put it down

At 27%... I was like OH.MY.GAH. NO!!!!! BUT secretly oh yes

At 42% … I am just swooning over Ash

At 70%... I am grabbing on to my tablet for dear life, b/c the tension is just killing me!

At 86%... I am about to explode

At 100%... I just felt like I had the best orgasm of my life! No joke girls. The ending… EPIC

I think what makes One Tiny Lie such a powerful and wonderful read to me is it’s so relatable. We all face hardships and we all have our coping mechanism, but sometimes, it just good to let go. You know? I adore this read, I truly do.

I love the story, I love the cover, I love the characters and I love you KA Tucker

KA Tucker has made it to my favorite authors list. I am so excited and happy for her visit to Houston, Texas. I just can’t wait!!!!

5 HUGE STARS!!!!
