Pepper Winters has accomplished what a lot of writers fail to do….meaning she wrote a sequel that is not only just as good as the first book, but maybe better. **GASP**
I loved QQ from start to finish, to the cover, to the characters, EVERYTHING.
It was the PERFECT READ TO ME.
The thing with me, I don’t read blurbs to sequels, if I like the first book, I just go with the next one, so I will give you water down version of what happens.

Vague? I know, but you don’t want me to give everything away. So we know from Tears of Tess, that both Tess and Q are working on their relationship, more on Q’s side. So this moves forward to book 2. Oh my god, how can I even describe how Winters wrote this.
Let me break it down again.
The first part of the book is pretty steamy and light. Tess and Q are getting to know each other again and I enjoyed this part a lot! I love my kinky scenes and Winters did not disappoint. Then the book shifts! I do not want to say what happens but you are like “OH MY GOD, DID THAT HAPPENED?!”.
It’s just plain good. After you get over that shock, you go with it and there comes the power struggle. Oh how I love it. People, I do not like angst or tension, but this… yes THIS IS THE STUFF I LOVE. It’s like watching a train wreck almost about to happen and you are just glued, WAITING, STARING and hating yourself b/c you love every minute of it.
It’s yummy good and …. Wait for it… it keeps on getting better.
Throughout this, I would say Tess really finds herself. You see her shift as a character and grow, in my opinion for the better. I loved her even more than before. Now, when you finally go through all of this, the read SHIFTS AGAIN!
And yet again, it’s just so good!
The later stuff in the book isn’t an easy read, there are some pushing the boundaries parts, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. The one word I would describe QQ is just beautiful. It’s a beautiful story, with beautiful characters and I was so glad I could be a part of it. It’s an epic love story I dream of reading. The can’t-live-without-each-other-kind-of-love story!
So much happens, boundaries are pushed, tears and blood are shed, you will be griping your tablet and will not stop reading until you finish.
If you were a Tears of Tess fan, you will not only be a QQ fan, but a Winters fan for life. She’s, as I have said before, is no one trick pony. She’s the real deal and talent oozes through her veins. A must read!
