Racer (REAL, #7) by Katy Evans

A bad boy with something to prove.
A woman with a mission.

The race of their lives.
The love of a lifetime.
I don’t think his parents expected him to live up to his name—Racer Tate—but once he felt the adrenaline rush behind the wheel, he was addicted.

He's the fastest, fiercest driver around.

Scouting new talent brings me to his doorstep...
but his smile sends me to my knees.
The sexy, mysterious Racer Tate is not the kind of man a girl like me falls for. He's secretive, reckless, elusive. But his proximity pushes me beyond reason, and his kiss....

Tycoon by Katy Evans

He wasn’t always this rich. This hot. This difficult.
Aaric Christos was a guy who protected me. Wanted me. Maybe even loved me.
That man is gone.
In his place is the most powerful real estate tycoon in the city.
He’s a cold, ruthless, aggressive businessman.
The only one who can save me and my startup from ruin.
It takes every ounce of courage to put my pride aside and ask for his help.
I didn’t expect him to offer it easily.
And he doesn’t.
Instead, he vets me harder than he’s vetted anyone.
Don’t invest in what you don’t know, he says.
He's assessing every piece of me, to the point I've never felt so bare.
I yearn for the boy I once knew, whose touch once craved me.
Putting it all on the line will be worth it, I tell myself.
Until I realize—too late—that some risks are not worth taking.

Commander in Chief (White House #2) by Katy Evans [Review]

The sizzling second installment of the White House series, by New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Katy Evans.

We fell in love during the campaign

Now the man I love is the President of the United States of America.

And its not my vote he is after.

He wants it all.

Womanizar (Manwhore #4) by Katy Evans [Review]

We were just two strangers. Facing a forbidden attraction, a chemical connection. Neither of us expected or wanted it to amount to more.

But I had never been drawn to a guy the way I was drawn to this one: my brother's best friend, and CEO of the company where I interned.

Even knowing I should stay away, I proved to be too human, after all.

The chemistry was amazing.

The laughs were incredible.

I opened up to him in more ways than I'd opened up to anyone before.

Mr. President by Katy Evans [Review]

He's won the hearts of millions. But is he willing to lose his?

I met the president’s son when we were both young. Matthew Hamilton was handsome, polished, and intelligent. I’d never met a boy like him.

He promised me that he’d never run for president. I promised that if he did, I’d be by his side.

Three terms later, an invitation to join Matthew Hamilton’s campaign is the most exhilarating opportunity I’ve ever experienced. I'm determined to make a difference; he is determined to win.

Focused on his goal, Matt is steadfast, ruthless, and disarming. All eyes are on him and his popularity is surging. But soon, the next possible president of the United States is possessing me in more ways than one—and despite the risks, I'm helpless to resist.

Ladies Man by Katy Evans [REVIEW]

Tahoe Roth.
Irreverent, cocky, playful and naughty.
He’s not the guy you date.
He’s the one night stand.
The one your mother warned you about.
The one your body craves.

You’d think the man who called me succulent would want to strip me down and spread me out on his bed—like he’s done with countless others.

But he passed on my offer….

Just like I’d once passed on his.

He’s wary, like I am.

He’s broken, like I am.

Manwhore +1 (Manwhore, #2) by Katy Evans [Review]

Billionaire playboy? Check.

Ruthless businessman? Check.

Absolutely sinful? Check.

Malcolm Saint was an assignment. A story. A beautiful, difficult man I was supposed to uncover for a racy exposé.

I intended to reveal him, his secrets, his lifestyle—not let him reveal me. But my head was overtaken by my heart and suddenly nothing could stop me from falling. I fell for him, and I fell hard.

Malcolm Saint is absolute Sin, and I've become a hopeless Sinner.

Manwhore +1 (Manwhore, #2) by Katy Evans [Excerpt]

FOUR WEEKS

I’ve never been so hopeful as when I board the pristine glass elevator at the M4 corporate building. A handful of employees ride along with me, murmuring perfunctory greetings to each other and to me. I think my mouth must be on vacation because I can’t seem to force it to speak. But I smile in reply—my smile nervous, nervous but hopeful, definitely hopeful. My riding companions step out on their floors one by one until I’m alone, riding up to the executive floor on my own.
Toward him.

Manwhore (Manwhore #1) Katy Evans

Is it possible to expose Chicago’s hottest player—without getting played?

This is the story I've been waiting for all my life, and its name is Malcolm Kyle Preston Logan Saint. Don’t be fooled by that last name though. There’s nothing holy about the man except the hell his parties raise. The hottest entrepreneur Chicago has ever known, he’s a man’s man with too much money to spend and too many women vying for his attention.

Mysterious. Privileged. Legendary. His entire life he’s been surrounded by the press as they dig for tidbits to see if his fairytale life is for real or all mirrors and social media lies. Since he hit the scene, his secrets have been his and his alone to keep. And that’s where I come in.

Assigned to investigate Saint and reveal his elusive personality, I’m determined to make him the story that will change my career.

But I never imagined he would change my life. Bit by bit, I start to wonder if I'm the one discovering him...or if he's uncovering me.

What happens when the man they call Saint, makes you want to sin?

5 I call dibs on Mr. Saint Stars

OH.MY.GOD. I LOVE KATY EVANS SO MUCH!!!!!!!
Manwhore is:
Fantastic
Sexy
Engaging
Incredible
I loved every second of it.
As much as I love the Real series, I’m beyond and excited to read something new from Katy Evans.  Manwhore hit my expectations and much more.
And the story…
Malcom Saint is rich, sexy and a complete manwhore.

He’s not hearts or flowers, but so swoon worthy.
Rachel is a reporter at Edge. She is hired to write a piece on Malcom.  Her boss wants Rachel to expose Malcom.
Rachel must get close to Malcom.
 My emotions…
It’s a fairly simple storyline and I really like that. I usually don’t like stories where there’s a lingering secret, Rachel writing a story on Malcom, but that’s not really the story. It’s there, but it’s not the main focus. Also, Malcom is aware that Rachel is a reporter.
The true star of the book is Malcom. That’s the thing about Katy Evan’s books, she writes some awesome Heroes. Malcom is a party guy, he drinks, he has sex and he’s very open about it. His life is posted on Facebook, twitter and all the social forums.
I like how gritty Malcom is. I like that he doesn’t fall head over heels with Rachel. He is attracted to Rachel and wants to date her.

The way he wants me takes my breath away

I’m so alive with you, you make everything pop for me, everything stand out

I wanted to know everything. I wanted to breathe him. Live him.

Rachel wants to get to close to Malcom but as a professional reporter. She doesn’t want to be that girl. The girl who gets lost in her assignments and risk everything for a guy. She’s use to being abandoned and doesn’t want to feel that again.
Rachel is very strong on her feelings and it creates this nice tension. It kept me glued to the pages and I couldn’t get enough.
Don’t worry, there’s steam, and it doesn’t disappoint.
I also liked the side characters, Rachel’s friend adds more tension and Malcolm’s friends are so funny. I hope they have a book too (please!).
Overall, the storyline, pace and characters just hit the mark for me. You will love Mr. Saint, you will root for Rachel and you will be dying for the next book.
I recommend!

Katy Evans loves her family, books, life, and love. She's married with two children and three dogs and spends her time baking, walking, writing, reading, and taking care of her family. She is grateful to her fans who spend their time with her and picks up her stories. She hopes you have an amazing time with it, like she did. If you’d like to know more about books in progress, look her up on the Internet, she would love to hear from you!

Manwhore by Katy Evans

MANWHORE
book #1 of ‘the manwhore series’
Is it possible to expose Chicago’s hottest player—without getting played?
This is the story I’ve been waiting for all my life, and its name is Malcolm Kyle Preston Logan Saint.
Bit by bit, I start to wonder if I’m the one discovering him…or if he’s uncovering me.
What happens when the man they call Saint, makes you want to sin?

Suddenly the atmosphere is so heavy I can’t breathe. My lungs feel like rocks and I really can’t breathe. As he rakes me in one fast, complete sweep of his eyes that makes my stomach grip nervously, he takes in my pumps up to my long blonde hair, and I become aware of my dress hugging the top of my thighs, my hips, my abdomen, my breasts and even my ass. Oh god. I force myself to follow the guard in his direction, every step accelerating my heartbeat. In that black suit and without a tie, the top button of his shirt open and his hair a bit rumpled, Saint is the embodiment of luxurious and decadent and sin. He is Sin Itself and I feel like an absolute…virgin.
He stretches his long legs out before him, his stare fixed on mine without any seeming inclination to move away.
“Mr. Saint,” the guard clears his throat. “The gentlemen had me summon her.”
Although his smile doesn’t waver, the look on his face is completely remote and unreadable.
“Here she is, gentlemen,” the guard then tells the other two—the blond and the copper-haired men looking at me like lunch.
“Tahoe,” the blonde says.
             “Callan,” the copper-haired says.
Saint merely pats the blondes on the butt and sends them on her way, then he reaches out to take my elbow somehow in an instinctive gesture that brings me a strange sense of comfort. I don’t know anybody else here, so when he tugs me to his side, I go down and sit next to him on the edge of the long booth.
And that’s when he leans his dark head over to me and murmurs, “Malcolm.” His voice is so deep and rumbling, I shiver.
 “Rachel,” I lamely offer.
He raises his eyebrow and stares at me. What are you doing here, Rachel? he seems to ask.
I’m wondering what to say, when Tahoe lifts his drink and drains it. “You’re up past your bedtime.” The Texan oil baby. Oozing charm, drawling out the words.
I don’t know why but I’m acutely aware of the position of Saint’s body in relation to mine. He just straightened fully in the booth and somehow shifted so his arm is very noticeably stretched out behind me.
“Like they say, no rest for the wicked,” I answer Tahoe with an extra-wide smile, my heart pounding over Saint’s nearness.
Suddenly I can smell him. Just him. Among all the mingled scents in the room, it’s Saint somehow in my lungs, in every breath. He radiates a vitality that draws me like a magnet. It unnerves me but something in his presence, so close to me, soothes me too.
“Apparently there’s a dress code—Saint had to drop his tail and horns at the door,” Callan jokes as a waiter sets a drink before me.
“Oh yes.” I tug the hem of my skirt self-consciously, “I had to drop half my dress.”
“Did you now?” Tahoe asks.
“T.”
One word, one letter, from Malcolm.
“Yeah, Saint?” Tahoe returns, lifting his eyebrows.
“Dibs.”
I almost spit out the drink. I cough and slam my hand to my chest, and Saint calmly reaches out to take my drink from my hand and sets it aside.  “Okay?” he asks, ducking his head and peering into my face.
I give one last cough and squeeze my eyes shut and nod, and when I open my eyes, Saint is the only thing I see. I find him staring at me in such a penetrating way I can feel the stare in my bones.

Ripped (REAL, #5) by Katy Evans

Every woman wants me--except the one I sing for.
Seattle shakes with anticipation: they call it the concert of the year. They say girls are getting pregnant just thinking about my band being in town.
But when you love a girl, you don't leave her with nothing but a ring and a promise. Any man with half a brain should know.
So what did I expect my girl would do when she saw me again?
Well, for starters, she loathes our music. Particularly the song I wrote about her.
When I sing it, the stadium is in an uproar. Thousands of fans scream my name like I'm a god--but yeah, not her. Crystal clear: the girl's not happy to see me.
Black hair, black boots, a bad attitude, that's her -- Pandora Stone is a freaking man-eater and she's out for my blood.
That's alright.
Let her come at me. Because I'm out for her heart and, this time, there's no way she can stop me.

4 Mackenna Stars
I love this series. I know there are a lot of negative reviews towards the Real series. I get it, many thought it ended and why do spin-offs? Well, I love additional characters. I love reading not only new characters, but different ones.
Now, it’s the sexy rocker and his name is Mackenna.
6 Years ago Pandora and Mackenna had a crazy relationship. They took each other’s virginity and swore to runaway together.
Of course that didn’t happen.
And it’s years later and Pandora is still angry. Mackenna is now a famous sexy rocker and his band is in town.
Pandora is going to the concert …. For revenge.
Pandora
I get Pandora’s anger.   Mackenna and Pandora had a plan. They would met up and go off to the sunset together, but Mackenna never shows up. I feel for Pandora. I would be angry too. He took her V card! So she wants to show up at the concert and she does, but when she leaves, she leaves signing a contract.  She now is going to star in a reality movie with Mackenna.
Crazy right? I really like the plot.
Mackenna
I will be honest, Mackenna isn’t my favorite Hero.  He plays for a band called Crack Bikini (I know I cringed a little too), he smokes e-cigarettes, wears make-up and wears wigs. I had to look past the superficial stuff to get into him.  Mackenna is very complex, his dad was into drugs and even though Mackenna is super rich and famous, he still feels like a shell.
Overall
I liked Pandora and Mackenna’s bickering. Both hate each other and the banter is very comical and adds juiciness to the storyline. Despite the hate, they both are very attracted to each other still, so you can imagine the steamy scenes.
I liked when Pandora and Mackenna get more into the past and we start to piece some of it together. You get a little bit of both sides.  A lot is revealed.  Both characters did frustrate me at some points, but it added some nice tension.
If you are a fan of the series, you will like this one.

Rogue (Real, #4) by Katy Evans

Rogue (Real, #4)Rogue by Katy Evans
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 Oh my Greyson King Stars

I love this series, it just leaves me with warm fuzzy feelings. This is Greyson’s story. This isn’t a boxing/fighting book, it’s more about redemption and seeking peace. It kind of has an “assassin” feel, which I love.

Summary

Greyson has to collect payment from 48 people. Once he finishes his list, Greyson’s father will provide Greyson’s mom’s location.

Melanie is struggling financially. She doesn’t have time to entertain herself with a mysterious stranger that helps her out of the rain, but she indulges, just once.

Melanie

I like Melanie. She’s young, strong and very independent. She’s stuck in the rain and a sexy guy offers to help her out. Of course there’s insta-lust, which I thought would turn me off, but it doesn’t. It just adds more character to Melanie and Grey’s story.

Greyson

Oh Greyson, he’s so damaged, so flawed and so tortured. His mother was taken away from him and he has spent most of his life looking for her. He hates his father and doesn’t have time for Melanie because of his list, but he also can’t keep away from her. I love Greyson because of his past and his pain. You feel it and I love how he allows Melanie in his life, even though he shouldn’t.

Overall

I love how different Rogue is from the Remy and Brooke stories. Honestly I didn’t want to read the same Hero and I didn’t. I felt like Rogue was a little deeper, but not as intense. I liked how it’s really about boxing / fighting. I liked how it was simply about Melanie and Greyson and also Greyson’s struggle with juggling the relationship and his list.

I loved how powerful and dominate Greyson is, it wouldn’t be a Katy Evan’s book if he wasn’t. If you are a fan of the series and want something a little different, then Rogue is for you.

Giveaway, REMY (Real, #) by Katy Evans

Title: Remy (Real, #3)
Author: Katy Evans
Date of Release: November 26, 2013
Publisher: Gallery Books
Blog Tour Hosted by: The SUBClub Books

I'm the realest fucking thing you're ever going to have.

Underground fighter Remington Tate is a mystery, even to himself. His mind is dark and light, complex and enlightening. At times his actions and moods are carefully measured, and at others, they spin out of control.

Through it all, there's been one constant: wanting, needing, loving, and protecting Brooke Dumas. This is his story; from the first moment he laid eyes on her and knew, without a doubt, she would be the realest thing he's ever had to fight for.

5 Remy-ness Stars
(SPOILER FREE REVIEW)

Reading Remy is like getting a feel of your favorite book for the first time, but twice.

I want to keep this review short, because if you are a Real fan, then you know basically everything, but there are a few points I want to hit.

FIRST - > You must read the books in order, Real, Mine and then Remy, there is no skipping.  Remy is Remy’s POV from Real.

When I first started Remy, it kind of reminded me of This Girl, it starts out present time and it goes “flashback” mode to Remy’s memories, so you get a little bit of extra if you know what I mean. Like everyone, I am not a huge fan of alternative POV books, HOWEVER, I do read them if I am a huge fan of the series. I loved This Girl and Walking Disaster, both were five star reads for me and Remy is no exception.

Her scent works me into a lather. I need to find the source of that scent

I want to play you a thousand different songs so you get a clue of what... I feel inside me.

I want to be your fucking real. You get that? If I fuck you, I want you to belong to me. To be mine. I want you to give yourself to me-not fucking Riptide!

I loved Real, it was six stars for me and I like I’ve said in my previous reviews, I am a Katy Evan’s fan for life.  I really did want to read what went on in Remy’s head, especially when he’s having his episodes.  Reading Remy is like reading about a love sick Hero on crack and speed, driving 200 MPH and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Call me a sucker, but I love the can’t-live-breathe-die kind of love and Remy sure delivers.  On top of that, we get bits of pieces of his POV from MINE, which I LOVED.  There are two scenes in MINE where I really wanted to know what went on in Remy’s head and I got my answer.  YAY for that.

Best part, was the last chapter and it leaves you off on a really high and “awe” kind of note.

So it’s really simple, if you are a fan of the series, then a def yes from me to you. BUT I really didn’t need to convince you did I?

“REMY! REMY! REMY! REMY!” people yell.

Their chants grow in intensity while her startled golden eyes devour me like I’m devouring her.
“You want more Remy?” the announcer happily asks the crowd. “All right then, people! Let’s bring out a worthier opponent for Remington Riptide Tate tonight!”

Hell, they can bring out anything they want, man or monster.

I’m so primed, I could take a couple at once.

In my peripherals, I’ve got her pinned down, nice and tight. In that frilly shirt. Those body-hugging pants. I’ve already cataloged her at about a 120 pounds and five feet seven, at least a head shorter than me. In my head, I’m already measuring her breasts in my hands and tasting her skin with my tongue. Suddenly, I notice she whispers something to her friend, rises to her feet, and takes off down the aisle.

“And now, to challenge our reigning champion, ladies and gentlemen, is Parker ‘the Terror’ Drake!”
I stare in disbelief as she walks off, and a knot coils tight around my gut as the rest of my body tightens in preparation to chase.

The crowd comes alive as Parker takes the ring, and all I can do is watch her leave my arena while every molecule in my body screams at me to go get her.

The bell rings, and I don’t play the little feinting and waiting game that me and my opponents always do. I stare into Parker’s face and give him a look that says, Sorry, dude, and go straight for the slam and knock him down.

He falls splat and doesn’t move.

The crowd is stunned into silence. The announcer takes a moment to speak as I wait, frustrated as fuck, my heart pounding in anticipation as I wait for Parker to stay down and the counting to begin.

It begins.

Come on, motherfuckers . . .

I’m fucking winning the championship this year and I won’t be disqualified . . .

Just call it a knockout and let her hear . . .

TEN!

“Holy cow, that was fast! We have a KO! Yes, ladies and gentlemen! A KO! And in record time, our victor once again, I give you, Riptide! Riptide, who’s now jumping off the ring and—where the hell are you going?”
The crowd goes crazy as I land on my feet on the aisle and their screams follow me all the way to the lobby. They are screaming for me while my body is screaming for me to catch her. “Riptide! Riptide!”

My heart pumps like crazy. She’s walking fast, but I’m fucking running. Every one of my senses demand I chase, capture, and have this girl. I grab her wrist and spin her around.

“What the—” she gasps, her eyes wide in shock.

She’s so beautiful my lungs freeze. Smooth forehead, long lashes with spiky tips—those gold eyes, that dainty nose, and those marshmallow lips. I need to taste that like yesterday. My mouth waters as a wild, primitive hunger opens up inside me.

“Your name,” I growl. Her wrist is tiny in my hand, fragile, but I’m not about to let go. Oh, no.

“Uh, Brooke.”

“Brooke what?” I snap, tightening my hold.

Her scent works me into a lather. I need to find the source of that scent. The back of her ears? Her hair? Her neck?

She tries to pry her hand free but I tighten my hold because she’s not going anywhere but my bedroom.
“It’s Brooke Dumas,” a voice behind me says, and then the crazy friend who was with her throws off a number, which my idiot brain doesn’t grasp, for I’m still hung up on her name.

Brooke Dumas.

My lips curl as I meet that pretty gold gaze. “Brooke Dumas,” I say gruffly out loud, slow and deep, my tongue twisting around the name as I savor it. Such a strong, classy fucking name.
Her eyes widen in shock—and she gives me a hungry, doe-eyed look that lets me see she’s a little excited but a little afraid.

It makes me crazed. I need to touch, smell, taste, claim. I burn with the need to tell her she should be afraid of me, and at the same time, all I want is to pet my hand down her long hair and promise her I’ll be her protector.

Yielding to the impulse, I slide my fingers into the nape of her neck, fighting to be gentle so that she won’t run, while only one thought remains in my head: Take. Her.

My gaze never leaving hers, I set a dry kiss on her lips, slowly, trying not to scare her, but just so she knows who I am, and who I will be for her.

“Brooke,” I say against her soft lips, then I draw back with a smile. “I’m Remington.”

Her eyes meet mine, and they’re metallic gold and liquid with something I recognize as wanting. My smile fades as I look down at her mouth again. It’s so pink and soft I bend my head to take it even more deeply. My blood rushes through my veins as her scent drowns me. I want this woman. I can’t wait one more second without tasting her, taking her.

One second she’s warm and trembling in my arms, quietly tipping her head back for more, and the next, the crowd engulfs us and some fucking lunatic is screaming in my ear.
“Remy! I FUCKING LOVE YOU! Remy!”

Brooke Dumas seems to snap into motion and quickly squirms free.
“No.” I reach out to snatch up a piece of her white shirt. But she and her friend wind through the throng like wiggly, little bunnies, and I’m in the crowd stuck with two fans who—
“Riptide, my god, please let me touch your cock.”

“Riptide, you can take us both together!”

As they rub their hands down my abs, I think, FUCK! and pry their arms away, then I charge after her. When I reach the elevator, the gate is shut and I hear her noisily ascending up to street level.

“Remy!”

“Remington!”

Growling in anger, I slam my palm to the closed door, then dodge an incoming group of fans and bulldoze my way back into the locker room.

I don’t know if I’m angry, frustrated, or . . . I don’t know. Where the fuck is she going? She was looking up at me like she wanted me to eat her; I don’t even understand fucking females and never fucking will. Scowling as I charge to get my stuff, I slam my fist into a locker.

“Take care of your knuckles, Tate!” Coach snaps as he gathers all my things into a red duffel.
I loathe being told what to do. So I slam my other fist into another locker and dent it like I did the first, then I glare at the old man and grab my headset, my iPod, and a sports drink. Following my crew out to our Escalade, I’m pissed as fuck at myself for letting her go. I try saving her number on my phone, at least the few numbers I remember.

“That KO was unbelievable, dude, you knocked him down within three seconds!” Riley says, laughing.
I stare out the window at the lights of Seattle and tap my fingers on my knee.

“All right, so what was that all about? Are we going to discuss the elephant in the car?” asks Pete from up front. “The one with the long hair? You seemed hell-bent in chasing, Rem?”

“I want her watching my next fight.” The car falls silent when they realize I’m fiercely hung up on her.
Pete sighs. “All right, I’ll see what I can do. We also got you a couple of girls.”

“A good assortment,” Riley adds. “A blonde, a brunette, and a redhead.”

And as soon as we get up to the suite, there they are. They’re waiting for me. Three girls with different-colored hair, waiting in next-to-nothing clothes, ready to fuck the Riptide.
