Alasdair Masters is in a rut. He just hit forty, has been nearly celibate for the past year, and his life has turned into a daily sequence of lonely patterns that revolve around avoiding human contact.

His tidy life is turned on its head when a hot young blonde at the gym that’s been pseudo-stalking him decides to rock his world. A very young blonde. Way, way too young for him. The problem is, he can’t seem to tell her no, and she just keeps coming back for more.

It doesn’t help that he’s ninety percent sure she’s a criminal, and still, he can’t seem to turn her down.  What is a dull introvert to do when a chaotic cyclone that oozes sexuality comes twisting into his life?

At first, he thinks she’ll give him a heart attack, but after his twenty-year marriage ended a year ago, he’s been a little lost, and when she comes crashing into his life, he realizes that he’s never felt more alive.

Is a walk on the wild side just what he needs to get his on track or a disaster in the making? Is it possible for someone that much younger to be just what he needs, or is she a fortune hunter, as everyone keeps telling him? Is it his hormones telling him that the mysterious younger woman is the one, or could it be more?

ARE YOU READY FOR A TWIST?

Who is Iris? Where did she come from? Where has she gone?

Alasdair Masters has more questions than answers about his new, too young obsession, and when he finds out she’s been lying to him, from their first meeting to their last one, he’s more confused than ever about her feelings, her intentions.

And what’s just as confusing are his own feelings. Has he turned something purely physical into something emotional in his own head? Is any of it mutual?

The only thing he doesn’t question is whether he’ll keep going back for more.

DAIR
Me, I was simple. I was order. A very neat, efficient machine that ran on nothing but air.

Me plus anyone else, well, that was another matter. And me plus Iris, that was a monster of a machine, with all gears going at different speeds, some spinning off their hinges, just going mad, but it was a wonderful madness, at full throttle, misfiring in all directions.

It felt wonderful and dreadful.
I was breaking down, and it felt amazing.
And terrifying.

This book is intended for readers 18 and up

ARE YOU READY FOR THE TRUTH?

I’d started writing everything about her down. I didn’t want to forget.
The color of her hair. The depth of her eyes. The stubborn shape of her jaw. The way her lips shaped words with such expression. The way her voice made my chest ache. The way she gave advice beyond her years.
The way she listened like she cared about every word.

The way she made me feel—Alive.

Every curve and hollow of her body was recorded, in my mind, and now my hard drive.
There was a bit of truth in every lie, and even if it had only been fed to me in the smallest increments, I wanted, needed to remember the real Iris.

Because in the end, there was one irrefutable thing that I couldn’t deny.

Hostage or hustler, sinner or saint, whatever she was or wasn’t, whether she lied to my face or taunted me with hints of the truth, all of this seemed always to defer to the more pertinent fact at hand.

She was mine.
Inconceivably.
Undeniably.
Mine.

After yet another shocking discovery, followed by a disturbing letter, Dair is almost certain Iris has left his life for good. He tries his best to move on.
Easier said than done, and when an unexpected and dangerous opportunity arises for him to find out what happened to her, he doesn’t hesitate to take it.
As usual, with Iris, the answer leaves him more lost than the question.
Every revelation is shrouded in mystery, and every disclosure leaves Dair more in the dark than ever.
And when finally, the messy truth is revealed in its entirety, will he be ready for it?

This is the final installment in Iris and Dair’s story
This book is intended for readers 18 and up.

DAIR

TWO MONTHS AFTER THE FALLING OUT

I had a bit of a nervous breakdown after Iris left without a trace.

It was the strangest thing, but I suddenly didn’t like my own company so much.

In fact, I began to hate it, even at home.

I still went to the gym at the exact same time, every single day, in the small hope that she’d show again. She didn’t, but I kept going, because I wanted to see her again.

She hadn’t been in my life for long, but I missed her.

Being that I couldn’t stand my own company, I began to reconnect with old friends, people I hadn’t talked to since the divorce, the friends I’d chalked up to losses in the breakup; Tammy’s assets when we’d been chopping our combined life in half.

For some reason, they all seemed very happy to hear from me. I felt like a jerk for going into full hermit mode and attempted to have something of a social life again.

I’d often meet up with another writer friend for coffee or lunch after my workout, telling myself that if I just kept working at it—being a normal person, with normal social habits—it wouldn’t feel so forced.

And it was true. Two months post Iris, and I was looking forward to having coffee with my friend, Benji.

He was already sitting at a table as I entered the cafĂ© a few shops down from my gym.

I waved at him, saw he had an extra coffee for me, and bypassed the line to go directly to him.

He slid me the cup as I sat down.

“You make your deadline?” I asked him. Like me, he was a neurotic, work obsessed writer, and so we always had something to talk about. It was good. Distractions were good. The more the better. The more plates spinning the better, these days.

He nodded with a grin, pushing his thick glasses up high on his nose, and sweeping his light brown hair away from his face. He was a good seven years my junior, with a lean, nerdy look that I thought suited him. He wore it well. “How about you? I know you were early on your publisher’s deadline, but how is your indie project coming along?”

“Good. Good. My word count is flowing faster than ever. I should be done in about four weeks.”

He whistled. “Will you sell it to the publisher, if they decide they like it and make you a good offer?”

I shrugged. “I doubt it. This whole project is an experiment for me. It won’t be much fun if I don’t get to at least see how making seventy percent compares to making, yanno, eight.”

He shook his head, smiling wryly. “You’re forgetting your advance. You can’t tell me they don’t give you plenty up front.”

I shrugged again. “Like I said, this one is an experiment. I doubt even my publisher can sway me, and it’s not exactly written in the genre I’m known for, so they wouldn’t write me a big check for it, anyway.”

“You’re probably right.” He sighed. “I envy you the flexibility to do what you want. Some of us are still writing just to pay the bills.”

We sipped coffee and talked shop for a bit. We were just getting ready to leave when he suddenly trailed off mid-sentence, looking at something behind me.

I turned to see what it was, and an electric fire went off in my brain at the sight that met my eyes.

Setting my jaw hard, I turned carefully away.

So the back of that blonde woman in line resembled Iris, so what?

This wasn’t the first time my brain had tricked me into thinking she was somewhere close.

But it was never her. I’d see some young blonde thing out of the corner of my eye and turn to stare until I met a stranger’s blank stare.

Not today. Today I was going to ignore the urge to obsess. It wasn’t her, just some young woman with a great body. She wasn’t even dressed correctly, wearing a pleated skirt and a belted, collared blouse.

Iris wouldn’t be caught dead in business attire.

“Holy fucking shit, man. Did you see that chick?” Benji asked, his tone reverent.

My mouth quirked up in a rueful smile. Even the most civilized men turned into mouth-breathers if a hot enough woman walked into the room.

“I did.” I took a long sip of coffee, watching Benji, who just kept watching the woman in line, forcing myself, with great effort, to stifle the urge to turn around again. “Nice ass,” I noted.

“Yes. But you need to turn around and check out the rest of her. Huge titties, man.”

I rolled my eyes. There was a bit of a generation gap between us. My generation thought shit like that, but then we kept it to ourselves, like grown-ups.

“Big soft tits,” he continued, “in a semi-sheer white blouse. Fuuuck. She’s got a tan. How many articles you think I need to write to bang a chick that out of my league?”

“A lot,” I mused, still staying firmly with my back to the woman in question.

“Like how many is a lot?”

“What do you make? Like five hundred an article? I’d say about two thousand of those, minimum. If she’s as hot as she looked from the back, though, you’d need to be well into the millionaire club before she’d give you the time of day, so more like five thousand articles, realistically.”

His eyes were wide as he finally looked away from the hot chick and back to me. “Really? That is fucking depressing, dude.”

I shrugged. “Yeah. But the really sad part is you’d have to spend a good chunk of that cash on her, if you wanted her to stay around for any length of time.”

He shook his head. “I think you’ve gone cynical, after Tammy.”

I couldn’t dispute that. Not a bit. “You may be right. What can I say? Divorce messes with your head.” I didn’t bring up Iris. I hadn’t told him about her. “Why don’t you go ask her out, if you’re so certain I’m wrong?”

He laughed. “I didn’t say you were wrong, I said you were cynical, and so am I. That chick is out of my league, period. I need more money to bag a woman like that. Or at the very least, better looks and a bigger dick. And look at that, fuck, she’s already leaving. I was hoping she’d sit down to drink her coffee, and let me look at her for a few more minutes.”

“Maybe you were creeping her out. You’ve barely taken your eyes off her since she walked in the door.”

He didn’t even seem to hear me. “Oh, no, wait, she’s only going to the bathroom. I thought it was weird she was leaving without her order. Did you see her shoes, man? Those are some ‘fuck-me’ stilettos. And her hair is in this tight bun, and she’s wearing sexy librarian glasses. Will you please turn and look when she comes back out? I will drop the subject if you will just get a better view of her and agree with me that she’s a ten.”

“Nope. Not doing it. That poor girl does not need us both creeping out on her. I’ll take your word for it.”

That seemed to settle the matter. He dropped it.

His phone rang; he checked the screen and started cursing. “I’ve got to run. Same time next week?”

I nodded, and he left. I didn’t move and still didn’t turn around. I had that feeling, a tingle on my neck, like I was being watched from behind, and I was again talking myself out of obsessing about Iris.

But burned in my brain was the image of the back of that woman, and in spite of myself, I was comparing.

And a small part of me was enjoying the torture of imagining it could be her, that she would find me again.

Finally, I cracked, turning to look, thinking that the woman must have left, so I should just get it over with, like pulling off a Band-Aid.

And there she was.

There was Iris, standing only feet away, holding a cup of coffee and watching me, her expression very blank. She was wearing sexy librarian glasses, her hair in a tight bun, just like Benji had said.

And it really was her, in the flesh.

She wore white, and her clothes were fitted enough to show off every lush curve. Her mouthwatering breasts were clearly outlined, the buttons of her blouse open enough to show an extravagant amount of cleavage.

How had I forgotten just how stunning she was? How captivating?

Her large breasts were even more exceptional than I remembered, as though I’d dreamt her up as a comic book version of herself.

Iris squared.

The moment our eyes met, she began to move, walking with easy grace to sit across from me.

She looked cold, so icy blonde and beautiful, like some mix of Marilyn Monroe and Grace Kelly.

Terrible and beautiful.

It felt like fatal voltage to my chest just to look at her like that.

It was Iris, but Iris as a stranger. No, it was worse than that. It was like she was a curious, wild, imaginary creature, with the pieces of her just now put together, invented for my eyes, not how I remembered at all, because even when she’d been angry, she had never been cold.

Then she smiled, and it was her again, all traces of the cold stranger gone.

Which one was the real Iris?

“Hello, Dair.”

I swallowed hard and saw her eyes dart to my throat.

“Hello, Iris.”

“God, I missed the sound of your voice.”

“The sound of my voice?” My voice caught on the question awkwardly, breaking slightly on the last word.

She had such a talent for catching me off guard.

“Yes. You have the best voice, like a stern school teacher.”

My brain short-circuited for a bit before I could respond. “You say the most outrageous things.”

She laughed, and its tinkling sound felt like velvet across the back of my neck. “Is that all you have to say to me, after all this time?” she asked quietly.

“I’m sorry for all the things—”

“I don’t want you to take those things back, if you still believe them, and besides, that’s not what I meant. Don’t you have anything else to say to me?”

I took a few deep breaths. “Where have you been? And why are you back now?”

“That’s not what I meant, either. And I don’t want to talk about that. Didn’t you miss me?”

She reached a hand across the table, and I found one of mine grasping it, lacing our fingers tightly together.

My eyes squeezed shut. It felt very good to touch her again, even just her hand. “Yes, Iris, I missed you very much.”

“There you go. Was that so hard? I missed you, too. You look good.” She tugged her hand away, and my eyes opened to follow its retreat.

“Why are you dressed like that?”

She looked like she was trying not to smile. “Like what?”

“Like a professional. Why are you wearing glasses? What are you doing? Where did you go? Where have you been?”

She glanced around, and the way she did it struck me as more than a little paranoid. “Want to go for a walk?”

My heart started pounding hard.

I didn’t hesitate.

“Of course I do,” I said, absolutely no thought required.

I’d take a walk with her anytime, anywhere.

She smiled, taking off those sexy glasses. “Well, then, let’s get out of here.”

Lovely Trigger (Tristan and Danika, #3) by R.K. Lilley

Lovely Trigger (Tristan & Danika, #3)Lovely Trigger by R.K. Lilley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4.25 (Team Tristan and Danika) Stars

There will be spoilers from book 2, Rock Bottom

If you were ever rooting for a couple to get back together it would Tristan and Danika. Oh my lord, I was on edge from first to last page!

The ending of Rock Bottom killed me. I knew it would be bloody, it would be bad and it would make me cry like a baby. Poor, sweet Danika, what else will she have to go through? Rock Bottom was a difficult read, seeing Tristan fall off the rails and then lose Danika was not an easy thing to read. Then, the impact it had on Danika! She’s miscarried twice and has a bad leg, oh how gutted I am.

In Lovely Trigger I wanted one thing --- > I wanted Tristan to redeem himself. I also didn’t want it to be easy and Lilley delivered.

This was a tension fest book! Talk about the emotions, the pain, the heartache, the whole story was gripping! Danika is going through physical therapy and Tristan is trying to be sober. Lovely Trigger starts right where Rock Bottom left off (to the minute).

A lot went down between Tristan and Danika and the only thing that can help is time. I will admit the beginning was a bit (tiny bit) frustrating. It was what I call the period where Danika and Tristan try to get their wounds to heal or not feel so raw and fresh.

After the beginning, things start picking up and there’s intense interaction between Tristan and Danika. Of course there are plenty of issues to make their relationship ever confusing. There’s ex’s to deal with, past pains to get over and old secrets to be revealed.

This was the perfect conclusion to a crazy love affair. I love Tristan and Danika’s relationship and I love seeing how much it grows and changes. The first few books showed them in a young light, but Lovely Trigger is all about moving forward and growing up. The change was perfect for me.

Book Review - Bad Things by R.K. Lilley

5 STEAMY, SEXY, WET, STARS!!!

You fucking did it again Ms. Lilley!  I’ll tell you, I LOVED the Up In the Air Series and I loved BAD THINGS!!!

I don’t really have to explain this story, I mean, there’s no reason why I should.  The reason why you should pick up this read and well read it, is because it’s just FUCKING GOOD!!!

BUT if you need to know, there’s Danika, the beautiful and controlled Heroine.  Who is absolutely adorable, sexy and just all around awesome.  Then there’s Mr. Slutty McSlutFace Tristan, who is hot, sexy, fuckable and yeah a BIG MAN WHORE.

Watching him like that on stage was like seeing the puzzle pieces all shifting into place. He was perfect up there, and it wasn’t any one thing that made him that way. It was everything about him.

This is all for the makings of an impressive read?

WHY YES!

So, the story line is about one thing I love to read….. BEST FRIENDS FALLING IN LOVE!!! And let’s all SIGH right now because we know we love it!

Danika understands what Tristan is and she can’t just have casual sex (it’s just not in her nature) but the attraction between Tristan, well it’s just undeniable.  Over time, after hanging out, drinking and almost passionate mishaps, they both agree to try friends with benefits relationship.

UH OH… we all know what that means.

We necked like teenagers in the middle of a bar for God only knows how long. It was insane, and tacky, and wonderful.

I told you that I needed you. But now I need you to survive. Forever. I won’t live through this without you, and I’m selfish for telling you that, but it’s the truth.

Overall, this was an awesome read. I could have read it in one sitting but I kept on getting distracted by my family. I kind of want to punch myself in the gut for not reading this sooner.  Ms. Lilley just knows how to write some good shit.  I was engaged, I was entertained and let me put the tiny disclaimer there… even after you did that to me! If you already read it, you know what I mean and geez, I had a heart attack, BUT in the end I still love you Ms. Lilley I do.

I know this wasn’t really a review, it’s me basically pasting some steamy images, but what’s not to like?
BUY.BAD.THINGS and READ.IT. You will wet your panties and have a full grin while doing so.

I’m going to fuck you hard on the hood of this car, in the pouring rain. And.You. Are. Not. Going. To. Forget. It.

It wasn’t a light kiss. It wasn’t a romantic kiss. It wasn’t innocent, or causal, or appropriate for public. It was a down and dirty, suck at my mouth kind of kiss, demanding hungry and perfect.

One final note… did I get tingly inside when I realized Danika is half Asian, maybe, but what?! It’s the little things I look for in a read and THANK YOU for that!

He tipped my chin up with a finger, then slanted his mouth over mine. Right in the middle of Costco. I thought it was the sweetest thing in the world.

Lana by R.K. Lilley

5 Stars

Even if the world ended tomorrow, I thought I could be okay with it, after having watched this perfect sunset, and after, a perfect sunrise with the love of my life.

I am not a fan of novellas, but I do read them if I am a fan of the series and I am a HUGE fan of the “Up In The Air” books. (books listed below)

Book 1 --- > In Flight --- > Review Here

Book 2 --- > Mile High --- > Review Here

Book 3 --- > Grounded --- > Review Here

Lana is Lana’s story and I LOVED reading about her when she was first introduced in Bianca’s story. So when I found out R.K. Lilley released another book that’s just about Lana and Akira, I was giddy with excitement and my only complaint…

I.WISH.IT.WAS.LONGER!.

To refresh your memory…. Lana has a crazy intense relationship with Akira. Akira is ten years older than Lana. Akira is a family friend and cares for Lana deeply. Lana has a huge crush on Akira and loves him. Lana wants to have a relationship with Akira but Akira doesn’t want that for many reasons (to list a few), age difference, family and personal insecurities… etc. Lana leaves the island broken hearted. We fast-forward eight years later and Lana is back because of a business trip, but the island is too small to not run into Akira.

So the story begins…

I enjoyed this read so much! **SIGH** Lana is too adorable and I love her crush on Akira. Akira is so sexy, kind and sweet, but still very manly. Reading was effortless and there was just so much that went on. I even liked the little flashback (and I usually hate flashbacks).

You even get a little excerpt in the end that leads to Tristan and Danika’s story, which I.CAN.NOT.WAIT to read!!!

I LOVE R.K.Lilley!

I recommend Lana and all the Up In The Air books. Basically anything by R.K. Lilley!!

Grounded (Up in the air, #3) by R.K. Lilley

4 Stars

What a way to end the Up in the Air series?!

My review is a little mixed, but more positive than anything.
There really isn’t much to the summary/blurb. James and Bianca’s continue their relationship and of course we have the issue with the Bianca’s Dad and James’ fame and past.

Let me to just say, I’m a HUGE fan of the Up in the Air series. I LOVE James and Bianca has grown on me. I will definitely watch out for R.K. Lilley books from now on and read the novellas (which says a lot because I usually don’t unless I’m a fan of the books).

I’m a pretty harsh reviewer and if I don’t absolutely love the book I won’t give it a 5 star rating, however, 4 stars still means I liked it A LOT, but there were just a few issues.

Overall, Grounded was a pleasant read. In Flight is still my favorite, but I am happy Bianca is less doubty in Grounded, verses Mile High. I am so happy there is more Stephan and even a chapter or two in his POV. Usually I get upset when authors throw in different POV’s in the middle of the series, but it was a good shift that was needed.

For about 75% of the book, everything was pretty much tame, I would say Grounded was the least intense book. Sure, there were some steamy scenes, but nothing really kept me on edge. For the most part, I am okay with low-intense books but I have issues when I read too many side characters’ back-story. I was questioning if there would be a spin-off novel because there were so many side stories and it was a bit distracting.

I wanted the last 25% to be the main focus of the book and kind of drawn out, so when I reached the climatic ending, I was happy, but kind of disappointed. I hate to complain, but I wasn’t pulled into the story.

Of course, I still love James and he doesn’t disappoint! James is still the crazy possessive alpha-male I love to read, but his “crazy moods” are mild and a little far in-between (in my opinon). There are still plenty of shocking moments, like …. red wings! Too crazy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I highly recommend the Up in the Air series, it has plenty of everything to keep you interested and happy.

Mile High (Up in the air, #2) by R.K. Lilley

4.5 Stars

What does it do to you, when you see someone else put their hands on me?

He asked

Even the most causal touch

Does it make you crazy

Do you feel like you might do something insane, or even violent?

Does it make your chest hurt, and your insides clench?

Does a red haze over take your vision?

Do you lose all ability to be civil, or even form a coherent thought?

YES

Mile High is book 2 in the UP IN THE AIR series. After giving 5 stars for book 1, In Flight, I was worried, Mile High wouldn’t hold up to the first book in the series, but I was happily NOT disappointed. I would have given Mile High 5 stars, but I have to admit, book 2 was a bit slower than book 1, but still very enjoyable. My review of In Flight CLICK HERE

[Where We Left Off]

It’s been a month since Bianca told James she wanted “space”. I liked this, because it makes me feel like Bianca has been thinking about the relationship and any decisions she makes, she isn’t going into them lightly. James is still head over heels all over Bianca, so he remains his crazy, sexy, dominate self… good! I really don’t want James to change too much, I love his flawed character so much in In Flight, I would have been disappointed if James became aloof in Mile High, but he didn’t.

I would describe Mile High as the continuation of Bianca and James’ relationship and it gets a little deeper and a little more serious. Stephen has a bigger role and we learn a little more of his personal relationship with someone else other than Bianca. I am glad that we get introduced to Stephen’s love interest; I just don’t want him to be left behind! A lot of James’ ex start to pop up and I wouldn’t say “ex”, just woman he has had relations with.

[Bianca]

I have mixed feelings with Bianca in Mile High, I still like her a lot, but there are moments where I wanted to say she is either really stupid or she is so insecure she can’t imagine James’ feelings towards her. The man practically lays himself raw and open to Bianca, yet she still questions if he truly cares for her, Ug… I just tried to read past her insecure moments. I am happy to say, most of it is resolved within pages. I like how R.K Lilley doesn’t drag on the silly parts; it’s noted and resolved fairly quickly.

[James]

James really opens up in Mile High and any changes James makes it’s towards the better and it makes me as a reader love his character more. If you thought you loved James in In Flight, you will be dreaming about him after reading Mile High. I think I love James character so much because he is just ridiculous… he really is every girl’s fantasy.

[Overall]

Mile High is very much kinkier than In Flight which makes sense because Bianca is more comfortable with the relationship and I’m happy she doesn’t act like the “scared girl”, it can be frustrating to read ignorant girls because …come on it’s not rocket science! Let’s just say, we get playroom, horses and more exposure to how many ways James can “own” Bianca. Oh YES!

I liked In Flight and Mile High was equally an enjoyable read. I recommend.

In Flight (up in the air, #1) by R.K. Lilley

This is probably one of my favorite scenes in In Flight. **Sigh** Loved reading it from Jame's POV!

In Flight is a deliciously yummy read. I.Could.Not.Stop.Reading.

Bianca is a flight attendant and usually works in first class. James Cavendish is a billionaire who instantly becomes attracted to Bianca on the red eye flight to New York. James is the type of person who always gets what he wants and even though Bianca is mildly interested, James doesn’t stop at anything in getting to know Bianca.

Okay, let’s just say, In Flight has everything I love in a romance book. I wouldn’t call this erotica, even though there are some steamy scenes, the back story is just so GOOD, I consider In Flight a romance novel. So, we have the pretty heroine Bianca, sexy, dominate, aggressive billionaire, James, best gay guy friend Stephen and of course Bianca and James’ secret pasts, which makes ONE.GREAT.READ.

Yes, I’ve read the reviews, In Flight mirrors a lot like 50 Shades, but do I care? Um, H-NO. In Flight was written so well, I was happy from page 1 and I couldn’t put it down until I finished. I would suggest not judging In Flight prior to reading, because that is what I did and so I was very surprised on how much I loved it.

The story isn’t 100% on the airplane; it’s just the theme of the book, because Bianca is a flight attendant. I actually like the airplane scenes because it’s so different and it makes the story interesting. The story begins with Bianca working on the flight she meets James. Within the first few pages, the story starts to steam up and I was worried if this book was going to be completely erotic, BUT it wasn’t, I think R.K. Lilley just wanted to give us a taste and punch us with character introductions.

I love Bianca, I think my only negative comment is that I hate she is 6 feet tall, but that’s just a personal preference. Bianca is a level-headed, self sufficient 23 year-old woman. Bianca’s best friend is Stephan, who is gay and how perfect is that right? I know, maybe it’s cheesy, but it’s better than the girl best-friend I am use to reading. I have a soft spot for Stephan and you will love his character too.

James is just pure Sexy. If you are tired of reading about the rich dominate billionaire, then I do not recommend In Flight, if you are like me and get tingly and excited reading about characters like James, then this is the PERFECT read for you. Stating James is a little controlling would be putting it mildly; James is wickedly controlling and possessive, which makes him even more attractive.

Bianca and James both have pasts and it’s not really the focus of the story and thank GOD, because I can’t stand that. Don’t get me wrong, there is some mystery there, Bianca starts to reveal some of hang-ups right in the beginning, but James’ aren’t uncovered until later, but it’s not drawn out dramatically.

The whole book is just James and Bianca getting to know each other, a kind of story I am going to say again and again… I. Simply. Love. I can’t tell you how much I enjoy reading characters developing and forming relationship attachments.

I’m not going to say the relationship is 100% roses and cupcakes, let’s just say this book ain’t vanilla, but it’s not as extreme as some other books I’ve read. In Flight has the perfect mixture of crazy and soft that works for me.

I recommend completely.
